The Salas Scholarship Foundation supports undergraduate students who intend to study in State universities in the Philippines. The focus is to endow with financial aid, grant and scholarship deserving students who have academic qualifications but need major financial assistance. The Foundation believes that by providing education to the less fortunate would make them more productive and successful at home and in the community.

Right now we only accept application from Cebu, Philippines.
Who is eligible? What are the requirements for application?
To apply, you must be:
- a Filipino citizen
• a high school graduate or anticipating to complete a high school degree at the time of application
• planning to pursue a 4-year degree course
• belonging to the top 10% of the high school graduating class
Consider the following if you are interested to apply for a scholarship:
- The state university may require you to write an essay, or pass a written exam.
• The scholarship program is strict on setting a ceiling on qualifying family household income. Preference is given to students with financial need.
• The financial aid may be paid directly to the state college.
• The scholarship program requires scholars to maintain a certain GPA. A failing mark on a subject could jeopardize your ability to keep the scholarship and could be taken away from you.
Application deadline is March 31 of each year.
